Eric Holland is a film composer and sound designer. He recently scored a documentary feature film entitled 'Rabbit Fever,' as well as a 9-spot international campaign for Nokia with Weiden & Kennedy Amsterdam. Prior to that, he completed his third season of music composition and sound design for the 12-episode TV series on environmental design entitled 'Design E2.' The series is narrated by Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman and aires nationally on PBS and the Sundance Channel, and internationally on BBC. Some of his film and commercial projects include: The independent narrative feature 'One of Our Own,' which premiered at the Seattle Film Festival; the documentary feature 'Motherland' which premiered at SXSW 2009, the documentary feature 'Speed & Angels', which has been playing at festivals across the country and is featured on Delta Airlines flights, and a 13-commercial series entitled 'Ecoist' airing on the Sundance Channel. Eric was the composer and sound designer for 'Dopamine', an award-winning film at Sundance 2003. Prior to that, he composed music for the Columbia Tri-Star film 'Big Girls Don't Cry.' The film soundtracks were released on 0 to 1 Records and Virgin Records. His sound design and score work also include the feature films 'Nail Polish', 'Numb' and 'Search'; the TV series 'Orka! Orka!' and the short film 'Apples and Oranges'. Commercial works include Blue Cross, Autodesk, Symantec, Wal-Mart and John Muir Health Care. |
Eric's indie-pop music project Anagram released their second full length album 'The Lights Went Up' in November 2006 on Scenery Records. Anagram's music has been included in several motion pictures. As a music producer and engineer, Eric has worked on projects in Cuba with Juan de Marcos Gonzalez of The Buena Vista Social Club and in the U.S. and Europe with Faith No More, Mike Patton, Steel Pole Bathtub, Vervein, The Sparks, and Rebeca Mauleon. Eric was also one of the co-founders of the experimental multi-media group Milk Cult which has performed around the world from Tokyo to Marseilles. |
